This particular example was delivered to Sir John Leigh of London in March 1939, it was one of the last Phantom III to be produced. The owner kept the car until 1953. Rolls-Royce Phantom III was the final large pre-war Rolls-Royce and the last car that famous engineer Henry Royce worked on. Introduced in 1936, it replaced the Phantom II and it was the only V12 Rolls-Royce until the 1998 introduction of the Silver Seraph. Between 1936 and 1939 a total of 727 units of V12 Phantom III were produced.

This particular unit was delivered to Sir John Leigh of London in March 1939 and it was one of the last Phantom III to be produced. The owner kept the car until 1953 and then it was completely restored in 1970s.

The interior is equipped with a clock by Cartier, a lady’s vanity cabinet and a gentlemen's cocktail cabinet. The boot lid is equipped with a full set of tools and can be folded down to carry additional luggage.
