Jensen Motors was a British manufacturer of sports cars and commercial vehicles that ceased to exist in 1976. One of the most important models from Jensen Motors range was Interceptor. The Jensen Interceptor was a grand touring car that was hand-built in England near Birmingham between 1966 and 1976. The body was designed by Carrozzeria Touring of Italy.
The model had an all-steel body and it was offered in three body styles: coupe, convertible and hatchback. 6,408 units were produced in this period. It was equipped with a V8 engine and transmission from American car manufacturer Chrysler. Two engines were on offer: 6.3 litres with 270 HP and 7.2 litres with 305 HP or 330 HP.
This particular model is equipped with power assisted steering, power brakes, electrically operated windows, air conditioning and an electric clock. A similar 1971 Jensen Interceptor is driven in the 2013 movie “Fast & Furious 6” by main female character, Letty, played by actress Michelle Rodriguez.
