The handsomely styled Mercedes-Benz W113 Pagoda SL is one of the most collectable, eminently usable and universally loved classic cars that ever grace the road. Penned by Paul Bracq, the Mercedes-Benz 280 SL was the last , best performing and most refined iteration of the Pagoda Roof W113 SL series cars.
The 280 SL is the third iteration of the 113 series and has a bigger engine but also offered four-wheel disc brakes and a beautifully restyled interior with contemporary chrome switches, dials and door release catches, power steering, reclining seats and an increased trunk volume.
SL (W113) The Pagoda 280 SL has an M130 naturally aspirated 6-cylinder in-line petrol engine, producing a maximum power of 170 hp at 5750 rpm and a maximum torque of 240.0 Nm at 5750 rpm. The car is equipped with rear wheel drive (RWD) and a 4-speed manual gearbox, reaching 100 km/h in 9 seconds and a maximum speed of 200 km/h.
