For 2022 the G-Class returns largely unchanged, with only minor variations in color choices and a few features. Indeed, the biggest news for the legendary G-wagen is the announcement of an all-electric EQG model, which, however, will not be launched earlier than 2025.
The 2022 Mercedes-Benz G-Class is easily one of the most recognizable vehicles on the road today, owing to its boxy utilitarian shape that dates back to the 70s. Styling and much of its mechanical underpinnings have roots in the original military vehicle, but its interior is definitely more luxurious then the others. The G-Class' off-road abilities are just as notable as its appearance, with few SUVs that could match this mix of luxury and adventure.
For 2022 the G-Class returns largely unchanged, with only minor variations in color choices and a few features. Indeed, the biggest news for the legendary G-wagen is the announcement of an all-electric EQG model, but that's not likely to debut for another year or two.
Inside the better trimmed interior is a pair of 12.3-inch screens serving as the instrument cluster and COMAND infotainment display controlled by the thumb pads on the AMG steering wheel and a 64-color ambient lighting system. The exterior has the gets AMG's Panamericana grille design with vertical slats, while red brake calipers, perforated brake discs and available 22-inch wheels add to the bold look of the design.
Under the hood of the 2022 G 63 AMG is the same standard 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine with 585 HP and 850Nm of torque that is capable of pushing the luxury SUV from 0-100 km/h in 4.4 seconds.
The car has.... km on board.
