Night of Museums at Țiriac Collection

Țiriac Collection, the only private automotive and motorcycle gallery open to the public in Europe, announces its participation in the 2018 edition of the Night of Museums, joining the growing list of museums and galleries welcoming the public this upcoming weekend.

The gallery will operate during its regular hours from May 18-20, with an extended schedule on Saturday, May 19, when it will remain open from 5:00 PM to midnight. During this special evening, entry will be free of charge as part of the Night of Museums program.

Visitors are invited to admire unique exhibits, some of which cannot be found anywhere else in Romania or even globally. The gallery houses over 170 historic cars and motorcycles, as well as limited-edition models from various eras. The current layout of the gallery segments the vehicles by country of origin, showcasing the importance of nations such as the USA, UK, Germany, France, and Italy in the evolution of the automotive industry.

As part of the Night of Museums event at Țiriac Collection, visitors will also enjoy additional benefits. Gallery guides will be available to provide additional and unique information about the history of the vehicles displayed.

Visitors will have the chance to download the Tiriac Collection mobile app for free on both iOS and Android platforms, using the free Wi-Fi available throughout the gallery.

With the mobile app, visitors can explore the gallery using an English audio guide, discover unique details about the exhibits — including the engine sounds or horns of selected cars — and even virtually board a selection of models from the collection.

During the Night of Museums, special prices will be available for the 2018 Tiriac Collection wall calendars and automotive catalogs, while stocks last.

Additionally, visitors can enjoy free parking at the location.

The last entry to the Țiriac Collection Gallery on the evening of Saturday, May 19 will be at 11:30 PM.
