Ferrari Daytona SP3, the latest model in the exclusive 'Icona' series, celebrates the 1960s Sport prototypes with a sculptural design and cutting-edge technologies. Powered by a naturally aspirated V12 engine, mounted centrally at the rear, it delivers remarkable performance and an unmistakable sound. Following the success of the Monza SP1 and SP2, produced in 499 units, the Daytona SP3 takes exclusivity to the next level, with only 599 units being manufactured, making it a true masterpiece for Ferrari enthusiasts and collectors.
Ferrari Daytona SP3 is the latest creation in the exclusive 'Icona' series, paying homage to legendary Ferrari race cars by reinterpreting them with a timeless design, innovative materials, and cutting-edge technology. Following the success of the Ferrari Monza SP1 and SP2, produced in only 499 units, the Daytona SP3 is a limited edition of just 599 units. Its design draws inspiration from 1960s race prototypes, offering a modern reinterpretation of the iconic Ferrari 330 P4, winner of the 1967 Daytona 24 Hours race.
The aerodynamic profile is meticulously sculpted, combining classic Ferrari elements with contemporary stylistic solutions. The low-positioned panoramic windshield evokes the silhouette of the P3/4 model, while the front fenders, with their 'double-crested' design, reference iconic prototypes such as the 512 S, 712 Can-Am, and 312 P. The rearview mirrors are mounted on the upper part of the front fenders, a detail inspired by the P3 and P4 models.
The front end is marked by partially hidden headlights, equipped with a movable plate covering the upper half of the optical units. When the lights are turned on, this plate retracts, fully revealing the headlights. The light strip accentuates the aggressive lines of the front, creating a distinctive visual signature. Daytona SP3 is a tribute to the golden age of endurance racing and a pure expression of Ferrari's essence, where extreme performance meets iconic design.
The car is equipped with a 6.5L V12 naturally aspirated engine, producing 829 hp at 9250 rpm and 697 Nm of torque at 7250 rpm, with a maximum rev of 9500 rpm. The Daytona SP3 is the first Ferrari road car with a central engine and no hybrid support since the Ferrari Enzo from 2002. The engine is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, like the one in the 812 Competizione, and features an e-diff and advanced electronics, including Side Slip Control 6.1 and Ferrari Dynamic Enhancer.
Gear shifts take less than 200 ms. The body is built on the LaFerrari Aperta chassis, using carbon fiber, and includes butterfly doors. The SP3 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.85 seconds and reaches over 340 km/h. The minimalist interior features a carbon fiber dashboard, an LED display for telemetry, and tactile controls for 80% of the functions, along with a 16-inch curved HD screen.
